My mom, sister, and I hosted a baby shower for my sister in law a few weeks ago and I thought a Lemon Scrub would be the perfect party favor! These were so easy to make that I had to share. :) One thing to note with Coconut Oil is it is oily (imagine that), so after you wash your hands with the scrub your hands still might feel oily. Just dry them with a paper towel and it will feel like you just put lotion on. I LOVE IT!
FYI: I got these jars at Walmart. Also, I bought a big thing of Coconut Oil at Costco for like $20. This is a super easy and inexpensive gift. It is kind of messy to make so beware, but it is totally worth it.
1 Sugar
2 Lemons
Lemon Zest
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
On the lemon zest I used a cheese grater. This just adds color to the scrub. I also found that using a fork for the mixture worked the best so I could break down the coconut oil.
