Going Home Outfit/PJ's - I am obsessed with anything Victoria's Secret and I know I will want something to lounge around it that is still cute. So I got this to wear home from the hospital.
Hospital Gown - I wanted one that was kind of cute for after I deliver and one that will still be easy to nurse in and it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up!
Night Tee - These are my absolute favorite when I am pregnant, or not pregnant! I love these long tees from Victoria's Secret, they are so comfortable.. Everyone needs at least one. :)
Blanket - Just one for me to use and then if Rob needs it too, you never know labor is a long process
Slippers - Hospital floors are gross and I wanted something that was easy to slip on
Nursing Bra - I have a couple different styles of nursing bras but this is just the one that I packed
Nursing Pads
Pads - Yikes..... I know they will give me some at the hospital but just incase
Underwear - I just bought not so cute ones at Wal-Mart
Brush
Tooth Brush & Tooth Paste
Prenatals
Make Up Remover - These will be nice to clean up my face even though I know I will want to wash my face and shower too
Shampoo & Conditioner
Nursing Butter
Deodorant
Hair Tie & Bobbie Pins
Lotion - I packed scented lotion, because I think normal lotion is boring.
Make Up - I know this seems high maintenance but I am sure I will want to look some what put together for picture and visitors, I just feel so much better when I am a little more put together. Sometimes a little mascara can make you feel so much better!
I feel like what I packed is pretty realistic. Some of the lists I read were WAY over the top!! Like it is only 2 days.. My bag isn't very big and I really don't think it needs to be. :) I hope this helps someone. I will do a follow up post and let you know what I end of using, not using or what I felt like I needed.
Baby boy could be here any day. Stay updated on Facebook!
sound like you will be set.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I can add is room spray - since you can't light candles or open windows. It can get stinky. And quarters for your husband to grab snacks from the vending machine!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips! :)
